Director
Kristie’s raison d’etre is hair. She knows what her clients want with the intuitiveness of someone with 20 successful years in the business. Passionate about reviving tired styles with on-trend cuts and soft foils, Kristie thrives on collaborating with her supportive team and amazing clients at Sol.
Away from the salon, she finds her bliss at the beach. A scuba diver and salsa dancer, she’ll eat poached eggs, avo and haloumi on sourdough any time of the day. Throw in a cheeky Tommy’s Margarita and her joy is complete.
Cathy
Senior Stylist
With over 15 years of experience, Cathy isn’t just following trends; she’s been setting the pace. When classic styles make a comeback, she’s ready to breathe new life into them – think layers and those flawless bouncy blowdries. Sol has quickly become Cathy’s second home, where family vibes foster genuine connections in the salon and with clients.
Weekends for Cathy mean a mix of family time, exercise, and chill moments (did we mention she’s learning the ukulele?). Most importantly, you’ll find her deciding whether it’s Aperol Spritz-o’clock or Whiskey Sour hour, but she’ll happily drink a Marg instead.
Christee Jean

When she’s not expertly performing colour corrections at Sol, Christee Jean can be found catching up with friends while soaking up some sunshine – and perhaps a watermelon frozen Margarita – somewhere awesome.
With more than a decade of hairdressing under her belt, Christee Jean loves the calm and relaxing vibes that Sol offers clients. (Chicken burgers are a weakness, though – shhh…!)

Ravina’s all about curly cuts, chic bobs and balayaging rich, chocolatey brunettes. With over a decade in the industry, she’s found the perfect fit in Sol’s fresh, down-to-earth space.
Once she’s given your curls their moment, she’s off to yoga, café hopping or a wine night, but she’s just as happy with Netflix and noodles. A Bramble cocktail is her go-to (a little fancy, but fun), and she never says no to proper Italian.
Fun fact: she repped India in the Beauty category at WorldSkills in Germany, no big deal.
Courtney

Eleven years in, Courtney is still obsessed with beautifully blended foils. Soft roots and seamless colour are her signature, creating finishes that make clients do a double-take in the mirror. What Courtney loves most about Sol is exactly what you’d hope for: the team, the relaxed energy, and the genuinely good vibes. Weekends are strictly a no-cooking, no-chores zone. For her, it’s just sunshine, family time, and winding down in the evening. Pair that vibe with a Margarita, and she’s reached peak life perfection.
Shannon
Senior Stylist
Shannon’s happy place is a gorgeous balayage, a fresh set of highlights, or a cut that just works. With six years of experience, she makes it look effortless. What drew her to Sol was the fun, supportive crew who’ve turned the salon into something that genuinely feels like family. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her off-grid on horseback or out on a camping trip. She’s a lychee martini girl with a weakness for a proper pub steak, though a custard scroll will turn her head just as fast. When she (inevitably) wins the lotto, she’ll buy a fully functional farm and live her best life.
Ellie
Junior Stylist
Smooth, glossy hair is Ellie’s thing. Hand her a Cezanne treatment and a round brush and she’ll take it from there. With two-and-a-half years of experience behind her, Sol’s calm and supportive atmosphere is the perfect place to keep growing.
Outside of work, you’ll find her by the pool or out exploring somewhere new. Roast lamb and crispy potatoes are her kind of comfort food. And when she’s not dreaming of her next holiday, she’s thinking about the long-haired dachshund she’ll one day call Frank (or Frankie).
